J. David Hitchcock founded and is a principal for Vesta Mortgage.  Prior to founding Vesta Mortgage, David practiced law for five years with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in Los Angeles, California. His practice concentrated on real estate finance, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, sale/leasebacks, development and restructurings. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California School of Law, where he served as an articles editor of the University of Southern California Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif.
