BACKGROUND AND MISSION STATEMENT

Vesta Mortgage was founded by J. David Hitchcock, a licensed California real estate broker and attorney. David practiced as an attorney in Los Angeles with an international law firm for five years, specializing in real estate finance, joint ventures and development, and closed sophisticated transactions all over the United States and Asia. Frustrated with his own experiences in purchasing and refinancing real estate, David established Vesta Mortgage to elevate the level of service, knowledge and professionalism available to borrowers. Hence, our mission statement:

“Our mission is to make clients feel confident and secure in making important financial decisions by providing them with thoughtful, professional service and reasonable prices in selecting mortgage loans.”


In developing Vesta Mortgage’s approach to its business, we identified five core values that we strive for in all of our endeavors:
